PENERAPAN BIOPORI DAN PENGGUNAAN PGPR PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN CABAI MERAH (Capsicum annuum L.)

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of the application of biopore and the use of PGPR on the growth and yield of red chili (Capsicum annuum L.). The research was conducted from June 2019 to November 2019, the research location was in Kamal Wetan Village, RT 02/RW 15, Seyegan District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region.
The study used a factorial experimental design with two factors, the design was completely randomized block. The first factor consisted of 3 treatments, namely: without biopore (control); in-row biopore treatment, and inter-row biopore treatment. The second factor consisted of: 0 ml/liter PGPR concentration, 5 ml/liter PGPR concentration, 10 ml/liter PGPR concentration, and 15 ml/liter PGPR concentration. The repetition was repeated 3 times. Observation variables included: plant height, number of leaves, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, root fresh weight, root dry weight, fruit fresh weight per plant, fresh weight per plot and fresh weight per hectare. The data obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance at 5% level and followed by DMRT test at 5% level.
The results showed that the effect of the application of the biopore system and the use of PGPR on the Growth and Yield of Red Chili (Capsicum annuum L.) from the results of the analysis showed no interaction. The biopore treatment alone showed that the parameters of plant height, plant fresh weight and fruit fresh weight gave significantly different results with other parameters. The biopore treatment was better than the control treatment, the inter-row biopore treatment gave better results than the in-row biopore treatment. Meanwhile, the PGPR concentration treatment gave no significant difference in all variables.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan biopori dan penggunaan PGPR terhadap pertumbuhan danhasil pada tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2019 sampai dengan November 2019, lokasi penelitian di Desa Kamal Wetan, RT 02/RW 15, Kecamatan Seyegan, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
Penelitian menggunakan rancangan percobaan faktorial dengan dua faktor, rancangannya acak kelompok lengkap. Faktor pertama terdiri dari 3 perlakuan, yaitu: tanpa biopori (control); perlakuan biopori dalam baris, dan biopori antar baris. Faktor kedua terdiri dari: konsentrasi PGPR 0 ml/liter, konsentrasi PGPR 5 ml/liter, konsentrasi PGPR 10 ml/liter, dan konsentrasi PGPR 15 ml/liter. Ulangan dilakukan 3 kali ulangan. Variabel pengamatan meliputi: tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat segar tanaman, berat kering tanaman, berat segar akar, berat kering akar, berat segar buah per tanaman, berat segar buah per petak dan berat segar buah per hektar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analsis sidik ragam jenjang 5% dan dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT taraf 5%.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengaruh Penerapan Sistem Biopori dan Penggunaan PGPR terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum annuum L.) dari hasil analisis tidak terdapat interaksi. Secara tunggal perlakuan biopori menunjukkan bahwa pada parameter tinggi tanaman, berat segar tanaman dan berat segar buah memberikan hasil yang beda nyata dengan parameter lain. Perlakuan biopori lebih baik dari pada perlakuan kontrol, perlakuan biopori antar baris memberikan hasil yang lebih baik daripada perlakuan biopori dalam baris. Sedangkan pada perlakuan konsentrasi PGPR memberikan hasil tidak beda nyata pada semua variabel.
