Abstract

ABSTRACT
Nutrition and food security in Indonesia are interrelated. The decline in Indonesia's food
security will have a negative impact on nutrition. Food security according to the Food Security
Agency (2018) is a situation where people have access to safe food both in quantity and quality,
as well as food that is versatile, nutritious, fair, and inexpensive to live healthy and active and
produce with consideration of sustainability. One of the Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) which aims to end hunger, starvation, and malnutrition is food security. The main
objective of this research is to examine how climate change affects Indonesia's food security.
The study was conducted in West Java Province, taking locations in Bandung, Garut, and
Majalengka with the characteristics of food-producing areas. The data to be collected in the
research are primary and secondary. Preliminary data is a survey employing interviews and
secondary data is obtained from offline and online sources and other relevant agencies. The
impact of climate change has an impact on the agricultural sector, food security, and
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
